Prior to my consulting work, I built and led all things social media for the Women's March on Washington. And prior to my work with the Women's March, I helped to build the social media presence of OkayAfrica.

I'm always looking to work with and collaborate with more platforms and individuals who believe in the power of art and representation to create change. If that's you, let's talk! I can be reached at djdiabeatic@gmail.com.

These are a few of the super cool platforms I've worked with.

USOW Logo white text (3).png

Launched in 2016 with a summit co-hosted with the White House Council on Women and Girls, The United State of Women is a national organization that amplifies the work of organizations and individuals at the forefront of the fight for women’s equality, and provides tools, access and connections that help women see and step into their power to break down the barriers that hold women back.

ITS ON US_White.png

Launched in 2014, It’s On Us is a national movement to end sexual assault. The campaign was launched following recommendations from the White House Task Force to Prevent Sexual Assault that noted the importance of engaging everyone in the conversation to end sexual violence. The campaign combines innovative creative content and grassroots organizing techniques to spark conversation on a national and local level.

amplifier-logo.png

Amplifier is a design lab that builds art to amplify the voices of grassroots movements. They work with a community of social change partners, in both the for-profit and non-profit worlds, to build symbols, language, and distribution strategies that can change the national narrative, drawing from a deep portfolio of artists to commission new art, then take the work and distribute it in unparalleled numbers through creative space hacks, reaching new audiences and driving real change.

FOR FREEDOMS_White.png

Founded in 2016 by artists Hank Willis Thomas and Eric Gottesman, For Freedoms is a platform for creative civic engagement, discourse, and direct action. Inspired by American artist Norman Rockwell’s paintings of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms (1941)—freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear—For Freedoms’ exhibitions, installations, and public programs use art to deepen public discussions on civic issues and core values, and to advocate for equality, dialogue, and civic participation. As a nexus between art, politics, commerce, and education, For Freedoms aims to inject anti-partisan, critical thinking that fine art requires into the political landscape through programming, exhibitions, and public artworks. In 2018, For Freedoms launched the 50 State Initiative: the largest creative collaboration in U.S. history.

Planned_Parenthood_logo.svg.png

For more than 100 years, Planned Parenthood has been the nation’s leading sexual and reproductive health care provider, educator, and advocate. Planned Parenthood's UNSTOPPABLE ART campaign launched in 2018 in collaboration with artists and filmmakers to capture and reflect the energy of people speaking out for the fundamental values of equality. UNSTOPPABLE is rooted in the foundational fact that sexual and reproductive health are critical to achieving full equality, and connects the dots to equal pay, sexual violence prevention, and paid family leave — essential issues for all people to make progress in this country.

Love-Vote-Logo.86e25b822afb.png

The Love Vote is a platform for the 50 million Americans who can't vote (due to youth, citizenship, or disenfranchisement). They share stories of those who can't vote in order to move those who can to vote on their behalf. It works like crowdfunding - but instead of raising funds, they raise votes. They see voting as an act of love, and their goal is to increase voter turnout with love.

FC_logo-01-header-175x85_optimized.png

The Future Coalition is a national network of youth-led organizations and initiatives working collaboratively to share resources and ideas, all with a common goal of making the future a better, safer, and more just place for everyone. Built by youth activists, for youth activists, the Future Coalition is a national network that fosters community and collaboration among youth leaders and youth-led organizations.

Families Belong Together is a coalition of nearly 250 organizations working to permanently end family separation and detention, seek accountability for the harm that’s been done, and immediately reunite all families who remain torn apart. It is led by the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Women’s Refugee Commission, MomsRising, FWD.us, United We Dream, People’s Action, ACLU, Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, MoveOn and others.
